I studied at Dulwich College, graduating in 2015, and Oxford University, graduating in 2019. I specialised in essay subjects, winning the English Literature Prize in 2014. At University I focused on autobiographical literature and Alexander Pope's poetry. I previously worked in the House of Commons as a communications specialist before leaving to pursue tutoring as my primary work.

I genuinely enjoy working with students from all age groups and abilities; helping them build confidence and achieve their ambitions is incredibly rewarding. As my career has evolved around writing at all points, I enjoy and excel in helping students build on their essay writing and creative skills.

My method is exam focused. I train students with regular benchmarks and tests to ensure that they are constantly improving towards exams. I have significant experience motivating struggling students to measurably improve their grades ahead of exams.

My method is all about the student's work. The student and I go through previous assignments they have completed for me or their teachers. I identify where marks can be gained and we drill these areas until we see measurable improvements.

I work with students, especially those struggling with their work, to approach academic work in a more positive light and build up their confidence.

When I am not tutoring I work as a freelance writer, penning cultural and political features. I also play piano in a local band in Dulwich for fun.
